Accessibility

Fully accessible

The InnovOcean campus is the first building in Flanders to be awarded the A++ label for office buildings. This means that it is an excellently accessible building with great user comfort for visitors, employees, customers ... with and without disabilities.

From the start of the design and construction process in 2018, the ambition in terms of accessibility was very high. Therefore, we collaborated with Inter - Toegankelijk Vlaanderen to translate the accessibility requirements into an integrated whole according to the principles of Universal Design.

The label criteria go from concept and structure to techniques and detail.
On 10/07/2024 Wendy Metten, general director of Inter, officially awarded the A++ label to InnovOcean.
